Holocaust Buitenmuseum
Persoonlijke verhalen in tot museumvitrines omgetoverde ABRI’s laten zien dat de Holocaust in heel Nederland plaatsvond.
Op 27 januari 2022, de Internationale Herdenkingsdag voor de Holocaust en precies 77 jaar na de bevrijding van Auschwitz, opende het tijdelijke Holocaust Buitenmuseum.
In zes tot vitrines omgebouwde reclamevlakken in Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Den Haag, Enschede, Leeuwarden en Zeist waren twee weken lang replica’s van collectiestukken van het Nationaal Holocaustmuseum te zien.
Met je smartphone ontdekte de bezoeker het bijbehorende persoonlijke verhaal, dat plaatsvond in de regio waar het voorwerp tentoongesteld wordt.
Het Holocaust Buitenmuseum was een eerste kennismaking van het publiek met de collectie van het nieuwe Nationaal Holocaustmuseum.
